This time of year always signals a doorway as we step into the second half of the astrological year. We have been moving through a season of internal growth and development - through the first six signs of the Zodiac.
The transition from Virgo to Libra shifts our perception (and hopefully our energy) outward, into the world. We are being asked to share, engage, communicate, and be in relationship with one another.
This year’s threshold holds even more potent power because it falls directly after the Virgo Solar Eclipse on Sunday September 21st at 3:54pm EST. This New Moon eclipse is occurring in the final degrees of Virgo and signals an ending of something we’ve learned over the past year - or an aspect of personal development and identity that we’ve been working through. It brings with it a new cycle: a transition into a new Soul-Self.
Lessons in Spiritual Responsibility
This is not a time for intention, but rather a time of reflection.
Eclipses are excavators - uncovering feelings and emotions. They are expansive and can accelerate or catapult you into a new direction of growth.
It’s a time to practice presence; to stay emotionally engaged and accountable.
Saturn’s Influence
Saturn, the planet of discipline and responsibility sits directly opposite this eclipse in the sky. As the moon positions between the Earth and the Sun, shielding the solar light, Saturns asks you to pause. To stop and reflect. To reconcile and release.
